This project involved a systemic strategy in family planning for urban, lower socio-economic class in India. The shortlisted deliverables were workshops, events and spaces where illustrated posters, pamphlets and kits would be available. These would contain family planning equipment such as contraceptives, along with various handouts explaining basic concepts such as the explanation of how the reproductive system works, what modern contraceptives are and how to use them. A key feature of this project was the lack of text so that the illiterate population would be able to easily understand.

The objective was to create a system that enables families to adopt appropriate measures of family planning with ease and comfort, according to their context and situation.

Through the research, the final problem statement arrived at was "To address misconceptions, misinformation and fear about family planning, by effectively and visually communicating benefits, correcting false perceptions and foster positive attitudes." To illustrate the stories in the deliverables, character design, colour and visual exploration was undertaken.
